Refund Policy for Artworks

At Vector Studio, we are committed to ensuring that our customers are fully satisfied with their artwork purchases. However, we understand that sometimes things don't work out. Below you will find our refund policy, designed to comply with Belgian consumer protection laws, specifically for products such as artworks.

1. Right of Withdrawal
Under Belgian law, customers have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving their purchased artwork, without giving any reason.

1.1. Conditions for Withdrawal
  • The artwork must be in the same condition as when it was received.
  • The artwork must be unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging, if applicable.
  • The withdrawal period begins the day the customer receives the artwork. If the customer orders multiple items, the 14-day period starts from the day the last item is received.

1.2. Exemptions to the Right of Withdrawal
Please note that according to Belgian law, the right of withdrawal does not apply to certain types of products, including:
  • Custom-made or personalized artworks (e.g., commissioned artwork or bespoke pieces).
  • Sealed artworks or prints that have been opened after delivery, as this may affect their value or condition.

2. Process for Returning an Artwork
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us within 14 days of receiving your artwork. You can do so by contacting us at:

  • Order number
  • The name of the customer
  • A description of the artwork and the reason for the return (if applicable)

Once your return request is confirmed, we will provide you with the necessary instructions for returning the artwork. The customer will be responsible for the costs of returning the artwork unless the artwork was damaged upon delivery or not as described.

3. Return Shipping and Costs
Unless the artwork was damaged upon delivery, or there is a fault with the artwork, the customer will be responsible for the return shipping costs.

The artwork must be returned to us in its original packaging (if possible) to prevent damage during return transit. We recommend using a tracked shipping method to ensure the artwork arrives safely and can be traced.

4. Refunds
Once we have received the returned artwork in satisfactory condition, we will process your refund.
  • The refund will be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned artwork.
  • The refund will include the purchase price of the artwork (excluding any original shipping costs).
  • The refund will be issued via the same payment method used for the original purchase, unless otherwise agreed upon.

Please note that if the artwork is returned in a damaged condition or if the return does not meet the conditions outlined in this policy, we reserve the right to reject the refund request or to offer a reduced refund amount, based on the extent of the damage.

5. Damaged or Defective Artworks
If your artwork is damaged or defective upon arrival, you have the right to request a full refund or a replacement. Please contact us immediately upon receipt of the damaged artwork, and we will arrange for the return and refund or exchange of the product.
